Both “in person” (depending on restrictions, health, location) and online options.
Lessons are for “long term” (not “I’ll grab a couple before ____ audition); the goal is to improve as a musician and while a specific audition goal is good to have, you will work on several other aspects of performance that are essential to becoming a superior musician.
Lessons are minimum 25 minutes each ($35 per lesson) and payment is due at the first lesson of the month. Cancellations will be rescheduled in case of emergencies or 24 hour notice. “Not showing up” or last minute/day-of cancellations will not be refunded or rescheduled.
Any method books and materials required will be purchased by the student (some specific materials will be provided).
All grades and levels are welcome. I have taught 4th grade through university and adults (complete bio on my website: jeffphillipstrombone.com)

instructional video covering all types of trombone playing
For my trombone playing friends! Rather than another “here’s how it goes” video, these are me reading through them so you’ll learn from my mistakes and I’ll let you know how to work on the more challenging parts!
